Are your fans all functioning? Anything blocking airflow to the gpu?

What is the make of the card?  Most brands have software to monitor this, ex: EVGA has Precision 1 and you can see the cooling map etc...

The key to computer cooling is enough airflow cycling through your computer. If the front of your PC case has a blocked or minimal opening for airflow, that can be a problem. Unless the fans are properly working or if the placement of the fans is incorrect, if there just isn't enough room with enough fans then your PC will become an oven for disaster.
